Curriculum Vitae

Beatrice Termeer graduated from TU Berlin in 2012 with a B.Sc. - Urban and Regional planning. Within her B.Sc. studies at TU Berlin Beatrice completed an internship with GIZ in Bangladesh, Mymensingh. Currently she is studying Urban Design (M.Sc.) and has been head of the TU Projektwerkstatt MOVE, a self-organised research programme, for two years. Together with Felix Wierschbitzki she offers a weekly seminar to work on the topic of urban planning and architecture within the refugee movement.

2014
Summer School in Mongolia, Mongolian University of Science and Technology / TU Berlin. Project: Weltstadt Exhibition – NOMAD CITY, Design Build project waterkiosk+. Upgrading the facility surrounding of a chosen waterkiosk in a ger settlement to create a gathering point/space for the inhabitants.

2008 – 2011
Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning (B.Sc.), TU Berlin. (Thesis) Development of simplified Land Use zoning for Land Use planning in developing countries on the example of Bangladesh. (Supervisors: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Million).

2010
Internship in Bangladesh. (Project) Good Urban Governance / UGIIP 2. Developing criteria for Land Use zoning and guidelines for spatial development control of each zone; contribution in preparing beautification plan of Mymensingh Pourashava.
