Curriculum Vitae

Iman Atwa has started working as a student assistant at Habitat Unit, supporting the teaching team in December 2023. She has completed her Bachelor in Architecture and Urban Planning at FH Potsdam in 2019. During the pandemic she worked in several socio-political projects, until she decided to study the Master's program Histrorical Urban Studies at the Center for Metropolitan Studies (TU Berlin) in Oktober 2022.

In her studies, Iman focuses on anti-colonial and feminist urban theories, specifically the concept of (re)claiming spaces in cities as a form of social resistance movements and social urban networks.
