Mapping the Metropolis
Infrastructures

„Mapping the Metropolis - Infrastructures„ is a seminar exploring methods and ways of describing the metropolitan area of Berlin-Brandenburg through its infrastructures. Tracing pipes, veins, joints, grids, knots, gravity and scarcity we will adopt a territorial view on the circulation of many things and represent our findings in successive steps through maps and videos. Participants will work in groups and develop a thematic focus on specific infrastructure.

MtM Poster

The Seminar is part of the interdisciplinary project “BB 2040” which investigates possible futures for the metropolitan region of Berlin-Brandenburg.
