bodyspace magazine launch: issue #01 home(un)making
how do we build a sense of home when the ground keeps shifting?
we will gather at one of the few remaining self-organized spaces in mitte, formerly occupied, to celebrate the magazine launch with collective reading, conversation, and exchange.
the magazine is grounded in eight contributions assembled over the past three semesters of the bodyspace co-research group. it explores how a sense of home is built in relation to rituals, memory, personal objects, and human and more-than-human companions, under migration, gender transition, political reunification, and exile. the work traces different stories through poetic fragments, visual essays, photographs, mapping, music, and a card game.
free entry. some copies available.
