We are delighted to announce the publication of our book ‘Beyond Urbanism. Urban(izing) Villages and the Mega-urban Landscape in the Pearl River Delta’ (Peter Herrle, Josefine Fokdal and Detlev Ipsen) through the LIT Publisher. The book presents the results of several years of research on urbanization processes and urban(izing) villages within the Pearl River Delta in the south of China conducted within the priority program ‘Megacities – megachallenge. The informal dynamics of global change’ funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
