African Urbanisms Conference – Call for Session Proposals

The African Urbanisms Conference organised by the Wits-TUB-UNILAG Urban Lab project seeks to explore the multiplicity of interlinked African urbanisms as a starting point to question the status quo of urban policies and planning paradigms, to seek transformative practices that present alternatives to “business as usual” urban development, and to imagine alternative urban futures. The conference will take place between October 23 and 26 2024 at Wits University's School of Architecture and Planning. The call for session proposals is still open until January 21 2024.
