Curriculum Vitae

Iman Charara started working at the Habitat Unit in July 2015. She studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and is presently pursuing her Master’s degree at the TU Berlin with a focus on urban planning and theory. Between 2010 and 2013 Iman Charara worked in several architecture firms in Lebanon and Switzerland. Iman’s current research deals with the influence of rapid political influx on urban shifts in the Middle East. Upon moving to Berlin, Iman became part of the refugee-debate in several local initiatives to tackle the socio-political changes from an urban perspective.
