Curriculum Vitae
Ava Lynam began working at Habitat Unit as a Student Assistant in April 2019. She joined the Urban Rural Assembly (URA) research team, looking at inclusive transformation-to-sustainability processes at the urban-rural interface of the Huangyan-Taizhou region in China. Ava is currently enrolled in TU Berlin's international Urban Management master program.
Prior to this, Ava worked between London and Dublin as an Urban Designer at Metropolitan Workshop, in public realm, urban strategy, affordable housing, and community engagement projects. Having lived and worked in various international contexts, particularly South East Asia, she most recently supported the work of local land rights NGO, Sahmakum Teang Tnuat, in Phnom Penh.
Ava holds previous degrees in Architecture from the University of Nottingham, and Urban Design from the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL, London.
