In the framework of the spring school Urban Lab Medellin I Berlin: Co-producing housing solutions the symposium Mi casa I Mi calle I Mi barrio is bringing together international experts in Moravia, an exemplary neighbourhood for urban transformation processes in Latin American cities. What was once a waste dump in the outskirts of the city has transformed into a lively living environment for thousands of families. The expected resettlement of one of it’s sectors, the Oasis Tropical is raising the question on the urban code of the neighbourhood and how to transfer it into innovative housing solutions.
Within three panels representatives of administration, research, planning and various local initiatives will provide an insight into their work and therewith trigger the discussion on possible inclusive and co-produced future scenarios for Moravia.
